Founded in April 2008 by Marcos Santana as an expansion of TRIBO Tinharé, TRIBO London is a non-profit based music organisation in Ladbrooke Grove. As a teacher Marcos leads the regular Afro-Brazilian drum workshops and Samba-Reggae sessions, introducing workshop students to Afro-Brazilian and South-American Indian culture and traditional costumes. These costumes are worn in TRIBO Bloco where TRIBO members come together for common performances at events such as carnivals in Bahia or London.
