This unique course in Afrobrazilian percussion is run by One Voice Music. The course consists of of 6 modules spread over 2 years and provides participants with an in-depth study into traditional, popular and modern Brazilian rhythms including songs.

The course is aimed at intermediate to advanced percussionists, whether performers or teachers who want to add to their skills by learning about Brazilian percussion

The main tutor is Ravin 'Raz' Jayasuriya. Guest tutors will be invited to offer more detailed study on specific instruments & music styles. Past guest tutors have included Leon Patel (Samba Reggae), Holly Prest (Maracatu), Bosco D’Olivera (Samba), Joe Hanson (Samba de Enredo) & Jon Hardeman (Candomble).

Module 1 is from the 6th to 10 Sept 2010.
