Greenmount Samba

A community band, based at Greenmount Primary School in Ryde, Isle of Wight. About 70 members (players and dancers), aged between 4 and 64. The band grew from the school's carnival entry, but has graduated from junk instruments, and now performs at events across the Isle of Wight, including the Bestival at the end of summer 2005. New players are always welcome - especially those keen to learn...£1 per session - Friday nights from 6.30 - 8 pm at the school
