Energia

Set up January 1995. 

Energia is a community based samba band based in the South West, dedicated to bring the rhythms of Latin America to a wider audience. We are a voluntary organisation who members contribute to all aspects of the running of the band.

Energia rehearse at the Grenville Rooms every Wednesday 7.30-9.30 pm, except the 1st Wednesday of the month when it is a Kilhampton Primary School! We use the skills within the group as well as receiving tution and gaining experience from professional percussionists and are always open to new members whatever your experience!

Please note - unfortunately we no longer have a group involving young people as we previously had with 'Samba Ninos'
