| Bath School of Samba (Hand2Hand) Bath School of Samba are based at the Bath University where we hold workshops every Tuesday evening in the Chaplaincy Centre (just a base - no religious connections). We are a ''Samba Society'' within the University and are also open to the public, which is a way of bringing the University and the local community together. The music is percussion based, centred around Brazilian Sreet music. We play full-on Batucada, swingy Samba Reggae, Funk, Calypso, Bangra, Maracatu and more, always adding to our list. We have performed at many different venues and festivals including; The Shephards Bush Empire, Bath Festival of Music, Walcot Nations Day, and various schools and charity events. |
